Total weight gain? 27 lbs (woah buddy!)
Maternity clothes? Yeah
Stretch Marks? No.
Best moment this week? not being sick anymore
Miss anything? Sleeping comfortably.
Movement? A crazy amount of movement.
Food Cravings: None really.
Food Cravings: None really.
Anything making you sick or queasy? Well I had a stomach flu this week, so that.
Worst symptom: Still indigestion/heart burn/acid reflux, also the preggo acne sucks, as does the pain above my belly button signaling that my muscles are tearing cause baby is getting so big. Hrmph.
Labor signs: Not yet.
Belly button in or out? Outish. I don't think it's gonna pop all the way out
Wedding rings on or off? Off. They still fit but halfway through the day my fingers swell enough that it's uncomfortable. I'm wearing a fake ring that's a couple sizes bigger.
Happy or Moody most of the time? Not gonna lie, pretty moody.
Looking forward to: Taking maternity pictures
So are you ready for all the fun ways that this growing baby has been changing my life as of late?
First we have the love sac.
Laying on a flat surface has become so uncomfortable that now I sleep in this. It is actually really comfortable and Chris shoved it next to the bed so we can sort of sleep next to each other. It also helps with the acid reflux since I'm in a somewhat seated position when I sleep. Glamorous, I know.
Next is the roller bag.
Yes. I have become one of those pregnant college students who totes a rolling bag around campus. In my defense. Books are heavy, especially when in conjunction with a laptop and the ton of food I bring with me to school. And sometimes I walk 1.5 miles home from school. So there. You can make fun of me, it's ok. My friend, Allison did:
As for baby, she is adorable as always and the size of an acorn squash. Yeah I had to look up a picture too. She's been kicking me low a lot which gives me the sinking suspicion that she's breech, but we won't let that stop us. The midwife didn't seem concerned at my last prenatal appointment, so I guess we'll see what happens.
I have been getting crazy anxious to meet her! Part of that is because I spend a lot of time at home alone. Being productive, but still alone. I think I just want company. The other day I pulled out all the clothes that people have given me for her and laid them out on the bed and then just sat there and stared at them. For like 30 minutes. Unbuttoning and rebuttoning. Just imagining what she'll look like. People keep telling me how much harder it is to take care of babies once they're out of the womb, cause in there they pretty much take care of themselves. But I don't care. I'M SO EXCITED!
Don't worry yet about the breech, all of my baby's have been breech until like 36 weeks when they have all flipped around :) Also, my babies were easier out of the womb ;-)
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm glad to hear it. I'm excited for the out of womb phase!
DeleteYou are seriously the cutest, sassiest pregnant girl I know :) Lets hang out! Please and thank you.
