I LOVE Halloween! It's one of my very favorite holidays ever! Unfortunately my husband doesn't share the same sentiment, so we're not much of the Halloween partying type. And I've sort of surpassed the age of trick or treating and I don't have any kids of my own to take trick or treating so I was sort of at a loss for what we should do for Halloween this year.
THEN, I got lucky enough to get called to be one of the leaders in the youth group at my church. I am the activities adviser for the young women. So long story short, I helped the young women plan their big Halloween haunted house (and by big, I mean little) but it was very cute and 'scary' all the same. They all dressed up to scare the little kids and I dressed up as Barbie (obviously. Have you met me?)
So here you have it, some of my favorite photos of the night.

I love doing makeup. This is the process it took to become Barbie. |

We looked like twinsies! |
The Haunted House:
"Come and Play with us." Ginger and Jasmine were the twins from the Shining
and the tour guides of the haunted house. |
McKaila and Harmony were our puppeteer and marionette. |
Pearl and Summer were the ghostly drummers |
Kyra was our Jack in the Box and Cassidy did the drum roll
for her to pop out. |
Janie was our vampire in a coffin. |
and Anela was our scarecrow who passed out the candy at the end |
Some of the fun Halloween costumes of people in the ward:
Cutest little watermelon baby! |
Thor! His whole family dressed up like the Avengers. |
It's kind of hard to see but he has a nail through his head and finger. |
Ladybug and flower momma. |
It was a blast! The girls did a great job and they seemed to have a ton of fun too! Chris and I finished off the night watching TV and eating all the leftover candy. It was a Happy Halloween indeed.
