Fresh Home Friday: Clean your bathroom in 5 minutes!

Time to get a super clean John people! No I am not talking about ways to wash my older brother in today's Fresh Home post, it's all about cleaning that room in your house that can make the WHOLE house seem not fresh: The bathroom.

Uhm...cleaning the bathroom is probably the most disdained chore in the history of cleaning for children all over the world. Most likely. I know I always hated it. That and mopping. I really hate mopping.

Unfortunately you still have to clean your bathroom if you want any friends. Or rather, if you want them to ever feel comfortable coming over. So today I'm going to help you clean your bathroom SUPER FAST! And then you can be done and go binge watch Netflix because we both know you don't actually have any friends anyway. Be honest.

First things first you need the right supplies:

  • Clorox Clean-Up (Or a bleach containing bathroom cleaning equivalent)
  • Toilet bowl cleaner and brush
  • Windex (Or equivalent)
  • 1 Green Scrubby Pad
  • 2 rags or sponges
  • Gloves
  • Paper towels
  • Broom and dust pan
Go ahead and stick them in a cleaning caddy to make it easier to cart from wherever you keep them to wherever you're cleaning. It's so much nicer to have everything with you at once than having to walk back and forth when you move on to the next thing. Saves time.

1. Pull out all the towels and toss them in a heap outside the door so you can take them to the laundry room when you're done.

2.Put your gloves on and squeeze your toilet bowl cleaner into the toilet, making sure to get under the top edges. Let that sit for a bit. Meanwhile, spray and wash the mirror with your Windex and paper towels.

3. Spray the sink, shower/tub, and toilet tank, lid, seat and back, with Clorox Clean-Up. Now grab that green scrubby and scrub in this order: sink, tub, toilet. We don't want to contaminate the sink and tub with toilet germs. (Ew.) Rinse out your scrubby and toss it back in your cleaning caddy.

4. Use one sponge to wipe the remaining Clorox from the sink and tub and the second sponge to wipe down the toilet. Again, we don't want to cross contaminate.

5. Now sweep the floor.

DONE!

And it only took you like 5 minutes right? Now if you have multiple bathrooms go hit those real fast too before (choose one:)

A) Baby wakes up from nap
B) Company arrives
C) They begin to grow living things
D) All of the above
